Part of my "Poissons Volants" series ("Flying Fish)" - combining my love with sea creatures and Rococo era portraiture - " Les Yeux Globuleux" (the pop eyed fish known in English as the Black Moor goldfish) is a stunning baroque portrait of a lady in a beautiful dress standing in a misty forest landscape surrounded by flying black moor goldfish. I had a black moor goldfish when I was growing up, they really are special little creatures. Limited Ediion Canvases are now available at Pop Gallery Orlando at Downtown Disney at the Walt Disney World Resort and posters & prints are now available online. My original acrylic painting. This is lovely! I'm not sure if you intended the goldfish to be the focal point and the character to be more of a background, but that's how it seems to me. But I love the fish so much! Such gorgeous colors!

I have a book with some of your art in it (Big eye art) I haven't looked through it in quite a while but I recognised your work straight away. I think the butterfly wings on the fish look so beautiful and dream-like and the details in this piece are just amazing!

I used to have a fish like those. It changed colors over time. It went from black to orange-gold.

I love the concept of this pic. Sea creatures taking to the sky! Tis very pretty. The girl's also very pwetty. :)
