Poe

Steampunk! This painting is an illustration for an upcoming book of short stories for which I am providing the illustrations. Her name is "Poe" - a character in the book - she has a steampunk flair, living in a neo-Victorian world combining fairytale whimsy with arcane technology. I've painted Poe in a fantastic scene, airship in the distance, bizarre clockwork gadgets and goggles in hand. Distant factories steam industry in the background, as Poe haunts the local trainstation.
